ABOUT ME

B. Maruco (Sometimes Ben, sometimes Brianna, depending on the day) is a nonbinary transgender theatre artist from Kansas City, Mo. She graduated from Benedictine College in May 2023 with a BA in Theatre Arts and Computer Science. She has worked many different positions in theatre including Scenic Design, Stage Management, and Performance, but her real passion is for Lighting Design. B has also served as her own Master Electrician for every show she has designed. B worked as a lighting apprentice at the Santa Fe Opera for their 2023 season and currently freelances around the Kansas City area. She has worked with KC Rep, KC Fringe, The Coterie, and KC Public Theatre.

Outside of theatre, Bri also does video editing and basic web design. She can also program in Java, Python, C, and Microsoft Excel.
